Languages on Your Screen: Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian
SOCRATES/LINGUA 1 project that aims to raise awareness and promote the learning of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian as a means of motivating European tourists to visit these countries.
The project will encourage the general public to learn the key expressions of these three less widely spoken European languages providing what amounts to survival level competence. By using the product, the potential European tourist will also be more familiar with the culture and heritage of the three Baltic states.
This language learning will take the form of a broadcast-quality DVD containing episodes in all three languages and playable on PCs or home DVD players.
