WELCOME!
The Polish school system in Lithuania has its rich history and traditions. It presents one of the basic factors of the development of the Polish culture in our country. The number of the Polish schools and students in them and the highly qualified teaching staff (who get their education at Vilnius University, Pedagogical universities and different high schools in Poland ) reflects the growing national awareness of the Poles of Lithuania

Being the students of John Paul II secondary school in Vilnius , we are interested in the history, culture, customs and traditions of our country. Our purpose is to analyze the contemporary situation of the Polish school system in Lithuania. John Paul II secondary school headed by Mr. Adam Blaszkiewicz was opened on September 1 st , 1994. In the year 2001 the senior classes were moved to another building in Druskio street. Now we are actively seeking the name of a upper-secondary school. A beautiful team of the teachers (71) is engaged in the education of the (740) children. The students of our school are taking part in the competitions of recitors, in Olympiads of the city. Four foreign languages are taught at our school: English, French, German and Russian.
